METEORITE

Meteorite: Usually
solid, dull, mottled, brownish to black. Non-iron varieties amplify
thoughts/telepathic sending/receiving, greater awareness, some connection to
extraterrestrial life. Odd/unusual energy, best used by those drawn to them.
Some believe that since Meteorites are in tune with the energies of the
cosmos and therefore more capable of raising our energies to a universal
level. Others believe that that since they have no connection to Earth,
Meteorites can in no way influence our lives. Perhaps a reasonable way to
approach this stone is to try and tune into its energy on an intuitive level
and decide whether or not it would play a good role in your life. (This is a
good rule for all stones or gems of the Earth as well).
Intuitive sources
say Nantan Meteorites can open and activate the 3rd eye chakra, facilitating
inter-dimensional communication and travel. They are said to increase the
flow of chi throughout the body and meridian system. Wearing them can bring
increased energy flow to the auric field, and can provide a shield of
protection from negative energies.
SIKHOTE-ALIN METEORITE
Location: Sikhote-Alin, Maritime Territory, former USSR
Nickel-Iron Meteorite, Coarsest Octahedrite
These meteorites are from a rare actual witnessed fall. On February 12, 1947
people in eastern Siberia witnessed the largest single meteorite fall. Over
23 tons of material showered the area. This meteorite displays regmaglypts,
thumbprint-like depressions, and has ragged, twisted and distorted surfaces.
This occurred because the meteorite broke up at a rather low altitude and
was not subjected to the intense ablation that would have smoothed its
surface.
GIBEON METEORITE
Great Nama Land, Namibia, Africa
Nickel-Iron Meteorite, Fine Octahedrite
This meteorite was first discovered in 1836, although it was known to the local
inhabitants prior to that date. Most specimens show flight markings and evidence
of a violent break up. High nickel content.
CAMPO DEL CIELO METEORITE
Gran Chaco, Gualamba, Chaco Argentina
Found 1576, actual fall estimated at 4000-6000 years ago.
Type: Iron based meteorite. Octahedrite, coarse (3.0mm) with silicate inclusions
(IA)
Analysis of metal: 6.62% Ni, 90.0 ppm Ga, 392 ppm Ge, 3.2 ppm Ir
A mass of 8 tons was found at a depth of 5 meters in crater 10.
