Close up to show fire These Opal are from Honduras and have "pin" fire which you can see better in the close up. They are unpolished and it is difficult to see the fire unless it is wet or polished. Pin Fire shows up as small spots of color and these mostly have red, blue and green fire in them. These pictures were taken with the stones wet, but it is difficult to show their fire. The Opal is in a Basalt matrix.

I find that many times using a string of "beads" made from crystal healing stones, or individual pieces work extremely well for whatever the crystal healing stone is intended to do. When you think of it, these beautiful pieces are made from the best of the stones, and you receive many more of the stones when they are in a string than you would with just one stone, so value wise, it is much better on the finances.
